Translation into English by myself:
("The Emperor tried to light up the meaning of his feelings, but there were only turbid and uncertain findings. His attention was disturbed by the fact that everybody in the room was moving towards him with the same, slow and sure steps; the blows of his heart were unbearably long until one of them walked the short way to him. He perceived him very close without seeing him: it was a coldness that was blewing his entire soul. He saw him through the lashes of light: that entity was holding in the empty air a white linen that used to dry the hands of the emperor with a respectful movement. But the contact of the linen crimped his flesh.
-Oh, Emperor- said the voice so close to him that it made his skin cold, trembling in front of an offense and an irreverence that he never confronted in his entire life -don't you regret that we covered you?
Nothing could match the violence of the blame that meant that simple words. His heart collapsed, cold teardrops felt and freezed him on his cheeks.")
