Our beliefs could turn to be false
"Infallibility is usually claimed to be a feature of beliefs which guarantees we have them just when they are true. The problem is that we do not seem to have any beliefs like this. On the face of it, all our beliefs could turn to be false. On the other hand, if we have any indubitable beliefs, then they are so few in number that they could not provide a foundation for the rest of what we obviously know."
